Looks like to me you never left.... lol. The other comments say enough, 5sq's after playing many round on this masterpiece, and a plus for your return, thanks Neil for another keeper

With some beautiful fall foliage, nice plantings and a meandering river as the main attraction, this par 72 plays very smoothly and offers quite a few challenging holes.
On the front 9, I like the dogleg par-5 1st hole, with a downhill tee shot, plenty of trees on the right and a meandering river on the left and a very long approach shot over it to reach the green, the left dogleg par-4 3rd, with a tee shot landing on the other side of a hill and a blind approach shot downward to the green, and the scenic par-3 4th, with a downhill tee shot and a beautiful view of the river behind and the trees all around.
I also enjoy the short (about 330 yards) left dogleg par-4 5th hole, with the fairway following the meandering river to the left (also running behind the slightly-elevated green), and the nice right dogleg par-5 6th, with a downhill tee shot and a slightly-uphill approach to the green, at the bottom of a small... downhill slope, not to mention the pretty par-3 8th hole, with a tee over the u-shaped river and with a small bunker in front of the green !
The back 9 starts with the pretty, tough and long left dogleg par-5 10th hole, with a meandering river on the right, and where you can forget about reaching the slightly-elevated green on your second shot, with plenty of trees in the left corner and the river running further across in front of the green.
Then, after three holes with slight elevation changes, you will reach the nice, but “easy”, par-3 14th, with a tee shot flying over the serpentine river twice, before heading for the beautiful par-5 15th hole, where you will have the choice of teeing off to the left or to the right of a lone tree in the middle, before hitting your second shot over the water to land near trees on a small hilltop on the right of the fairway, as reaching the green directly, slightly to the left, might be too risky...
Finally, after the straight par-3 16th hole, quite pretty with its narrow and slightly-downhill fairway (with plenty of bushes on the right) and a slightly-uphill green (with the river running to the right and behind), and the short (about 320 yards) dogleg par-4 17th, bending sharply to the right (with an elongated lake nearby) with a slightly-downhill green, you will move on to the gorgeous right dogleg par-5 18th hole, where you can hit your slightly-downhill tee shot over some trees in the corner to shorten the distance to the green, tough to reach with the river in front (and ending on the left) and a big bunker on the edge... before admiring the small First World War memorial behind and the nice clubhouse nestled among the colorful trees further back !
With this Claverhouse Golf Club... cleverly designed, Neil Munro comes back with a bang and you will definitely enjoy this course with its water hazards, slight elevation changes and beautiful views. Thank you Neil Munro for all your work and welcome back on the "Tour" !

Beautifully laid out and runs very smooth, so glad Neil is back, always been a huge fan of his work, hope there are many more courses to come.
